Curtis E. Henderson, 90, passed away April 15, 2019, at his home in Mineral Wells.
Graveside service is 3 p.m. Saturday, April 20, at Woodland Park Cemetery.
He was born September 10, 1928, in Delight, Arkansas, the son of Clyde and Ida Mae Lamb Henderson. He married Lena Griffin in Breckenridge. She preceded him in death in 2005. He had lived in Mineral Wells since 1962 and was a member of 11th Avenue Church. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He was a member of the American Legion, a lifetime member of the VFW, and a member of the Palo Pinto County Sheriff's Posse.
He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Curtis D. and Beth Henderson; daughters and sons-in-law, Christine and David Eneks, Joyce and James Knight, Karen and Tom Dikes, Tracey and Winford Sargent; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sisters, Clyda Sue Horton and Frances Harris; brothers, Tommy and Charles Henderson; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Uncle Curtis was a very special man. I always loved it when he and aunt Lena came to grandma's for a few days .all of the henderson's would get together and have a ball. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Wish I could be there. Love yall.

Curtis was a sweetheart. I know he has struggled the last few years with health problems. It's a comfort to know he's walking the streets of gold with our Lord and Savior. he will be missed by everyone. Prayers for all of you during this difficult time.

Curtis was one of the first people I met when I moved to Mineral Wells!! I've always considered him a good friend over the years. Rest in Peace my Friend!! My prayers to the family!
