Johnny F. Phillips


Johnny Phillips passed away Saturday May 4,2019. He was a loving husband, son, brother, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He was born and raised in Mineral Wells TX and enjoyed his years spent in Steamboat Spring CO. He and his wife recently celebrated 52 years of marriage. Johnny was a truck driver for 40 years of his life and loved to talk about all the places he seen. And loved his precious dog Sadie May.

He is preceded in his death by grandmother Bonnie Storm Gann; mother Vernell Gann Phillips; father Euther (Phil) Phillips, and great grandson Carson Mercer.

He is survived by his wife Sandra Darlene Phillips of M1ineral Wells; brother George and wife Suzy Phillips of Missouri; son Shane Phillips of Midland TX; daughter Shellie Hancock of Stephenville TX. Granddaughters Shayla Mercer and husband bill Mercer of Spring TX, Robin Williams and husband Casey Williams of Mineral Wells, Amanda Walker and Husband Eli Walker of Durant OK, Kara Davis and husband Austin Davis of Mineral Wells, Codee Phillips of Midland TX, Taylor Morrison of Stephenville TX, Caitlyn Phillips of Grand Junction Co. Great Grandchildren: Mason Mercer, Kadyn Hancock, Charlie Walker, Avery Walker, Kyler Davis, Tyson Mercer, Coralee Williams and baby Kaine on the way. Many other cousins and distant relatives.

A memorial service will be held at family home of Granddaughter, Robin Williams in Mineral Wells Saturday May 11,2019 for family and friends to celebrate his life.
