Raquel, Romelia, Lee:
My deepest sympathies for your loss. Elva was like my own Mother and I loved her very much. Beautiful inside and out with such a warm spirit. Wonderful memories from my childhood with all of you and your fun and hilarious parents. From trips to Rocksprings, dances, and hauling goats with your Dad. I miss you all. God bless you and may God comfort you during this difficult time.
Love, Cheryl❤

I'am so sorry to here about Miss Chavira's passing. My prayers and thoughts are with the family. I know her as "la hermana Chavira". She was a good christian lady. She had a beautiful smile and a very good sense of humor. She and Mr Chavira were good friends with my parents, Pedro and Catarina Valdez. I will always remember her.

To my family she was known as Elva. I always thought she was a beautiful lady, she had a wonderful smile. My mom Frances Vila and her were very good friends. She would call my mom everyday to see how she was. They could be on the phone for almost an hour talking. She was so kind, she will be missed but She is up there with my mom talking about all of us. My prayers go out to her family.

I was friends with she and many members of her family for years.....Maria was one of a kind! She was so sweet to everyone she met! I remember teaching at Lamar and she would greet me every morning with a smile....the beads of sweat on her forehead from cleaning for an hour before anyone else darken the doors, was a mark of her dedication to her job!!! You will be deeply missed my friend.....but oh the halls of heaven will be spotless! Your family are in my thoughts and prayers!!! Until we meet again!🙏🏼❤️
