Feel very fortunate to have known Paula. She was an inspiration for her love of life, knowledge and helping others.
She always had a smile and words of encouragement during tough times.
She just always had the right words and an uncanny ability to make things better.
Went to school with her, and she, like the rest of her family witnessed losses of friends, neighbors and family...and beloved animals and all always had a way of making us feel better about any situation.
My old Jersey Milk Cow would more than often times tiptoe across the cattle guard and always wind up at the same place...The Gilbert’s. Paula would often be the one to call and calmly say “James, we have your cow”.
...anEtta, Jennie, Valerie and Gloria: I really appreciate y’all as neighbors and friends and am so sorry about the loss of The Best of the Best. Godsend and keep all of us under His Wing.Read more
