Graham Kenyon Byrom
Graham Kenyon Byrom, 61, of Millsap, passed away early Monday, December 9, 2019, surrounded by his wife, three daughters and mother.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service is 2 p.m. Saturday, December 14, at HighRidge Church, 1202 S.E. 6th Avenue, Mineral Wells, where he was a member. Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Graham was born in Hobbs, New Mexico, in 1958, and graduated from Hobbs High School in 1976, lettering in track and Choral. He graduated from New Mexico University in 1980, earning a bachelor's degree. Graham then went to work for Western Company of North America. He worked 30-plus years in the oilfield with Western, BJ Services and Unichem, making many longtime friends.
Graham had the kind of smile that lit up a room. He was genuinely kind with a warm strong heart and always had a positive attitude. As his dear friend said, "Graham always spoke volumes in a few words." We are all better people having been loved by him.
Graham's passions were faith, family, singing, skiing, hunting, hiking and boating. He enjoyed watching his grandchildren's sports and other activities. He was also a "Gran-Gram" to many other kids. The "Professional Sports Watcher" standing at the fence with his boys.
Graham loved to sing and did so at each of his daughter's weddings. Skiing may have been his biggest passion; if you knew him then you would agree. His love for skiing was infectious and he taught all his family.
When Graham married Linda he brought two separate worlds together and created the wonderful family that they call Blended & Blessed.
Graham's easy smile and contagious crazy laugh will be missed like no other.
Graham is survived by his wife, Linda; daughters, Melinda and husband, Jeff, Fryer and Becky and husband, Tracy, Fryer, all of Mineral Wells; daughter, Zantha and husband, Aaron, Calcote of Tuttle, Oklahoma; six grandchildren, Braden Fryer, Courtney Fryer, Olivia, Anna, Jett and Brooks Calcote; parents, C.W. "Tack" and Carole Byrom; sisters, M'Laine Tyree and Kelli Byrom; brothers, Cedric and wife Karen Byrom, and John David Byrom and fiancé Sara Escobedo; and countless other cousins, nieces, nephews, family and friends too numerous to list.

Although we didn't know Graham well, we were always blessed by the faith, and that of his family, often coming forward for prayer on Sunday mornings. This was a testimony to many of love and faith! Our prayers will continue to be with the family in this time of grief, and may it also be a precious time of remembrance of his life, which impacted not only his family, but also everyone who knew him!!

He even loved having a pedicure. Truly a man walking with his Lord. Always thought he had a gentle spirit. Blessings to all in your time of sorrow.
