James Edmond Holland, Sr.

James Edmond Holland, Sr., 81, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend, passed away Thursday, April 5, 2018 at home, surrounded by loved ones.
Funeral Service: 2 p.m. Saturday in White's Mineral Wells Chapel, 101 N. E. 4th Ave., Mineral Wells, 76067
Interment: Sturdivant Cemetery, Mineral Wells.
Visitation: 6 - 8 p.m. Friday at White's Funeral Home, Mineral Wells.
James was born September 22, 1936 in Mineral Wells, son of Daniel Edmond Holland and Sally Snodgrass Holland. He graduated from Mineral Wells High School, Class of 1955. James met Connie Sain and they married in 2005, spending the last 13 years together enjoying their family.
James worked as a mechanic for Southern Airways for 12 years and then worked for Bell Helicopter for 31 years. He was a member of Masonic Lodge #611 and was also a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
James was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors: Wife, Connie Holland; children, James Holland, Jr. and wife, Tracey, Raenell Franz and husband, David, Amy Ahern and husband, Chris, Dollie Nolen and husband, Noel; grandkids, Brittany Franz, Chase Leblanc, Jacob Franz, Matthew Franz, Emily Meals, Brekley McMinn, Tripp McMinn, and Natilee McMinn; sisters, Jane Elizabeth Holland Owen and husband, Ed, and Betty Lou Holland Massey; special niece, Sue Ann McMinn and husband, Roy; nephews, Craig Massey and Emory Owen; and a host of extended family and friends.

Plant a tree: How does it work
When your purchase is complete, a post will be made on the tribute wall of the deceased signifying the planting of a memorial tree.
An official certificate recognizing your purchase will be included with your email receipt. You can then forward the email to the family or print it and give it to them personally.
After an order is placed, our forestry partners will plant the tree in the area of greatest need (nearest the funeral home), according to the planting schedule for the year.
Due to seasonal conditions, the tree planting takes place during the spring and summer.

Orders placed in:
January - May
Planting will take place in Spring or Summer of the same year.
June - December
Planting will take place in Spring of the following year.
